Yelp Elite Squad - Four Years On

Ahhh, the life of an Elite.

Let me tell you, it can be pretty nice.

Just last week I went to an event at a local beauty and health center, where I got a free chemical peel on my wintry hands, ate free food, drank free drinks, and got some Yelp-swag. This week, I’ll be stopping by a local cafe for a free baked good and coffee.

What else? Lessee-

I got a free session at Activate, that crazy game place you probably saw a reel for (with the colored tiles on the floor). I got free Japanese chocolate. I got free tickets to a haunted house (in an old prison!). And a free day at a zip-line adventure park!

AND, I just had so many reasons to try new restaurants, to try new foods, to try new drinks (and hotels, and theatres).

Just like writing a review in the first place, Elite events and perks have two-fold value: it’s for the giver and the getter.
