Welcome to another edition of Review Party Recommends, where we simply tell you about something we enjoy, which we believe you will enjoy as well. I mean, if you like us and our sense of humor, then it just makes sense, doesn’t it?

In any case, the cat is already out of the bag now that you’ve made your way past that first image. Today we bring to you a small sample of the reviews from Welcome to My Meme Page, all owned by WTMMP, all props to WTMMP, and you can find WTMMP many places, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Now we of Review Party Dot Com have made our feelings known on the subject of jokey, meme reviews. For us (and many of you), reviews serve the purpose of informing us on a product, service, or whatnot before we spend all our mad cash on it. A good review is one that gives details, has receipts, and gives us the down-low. People making jokes? Not always helpful (this is my cash, bro!).

But at the same time, we are comedians who make fun of reviews and love a good laugh. There is entertainment value in a well-crafted meme review that can save it from our scorn.

All that said, none of it applies to these reviews, because they aren’t trying to be real or anything other than funny in the first place. They aren’t being left on Amazon or Yelp among actual data-rich, experience-inspired reviews. They’re just on animals, mostly, with the odd inanimate object here or there.

And while these reviews aren’t the bread and butter of WTMMP, chances are if you’ve seen any of their creations, it’s one of these.

So please go check them out. Bored Panda has a few lists compiled here and here, where you can try to find your favorite critter and see if you agree with its rating. Below is a small sample which happened to strike a tone in our funny bone.

The writing is nimble, witty, and employs madman logic. And before we jump in - that elephant review didn’t show this - but additional props to Charlie, who (again, according to storied literary source Bored Panda), is responsible for WTMMP.

The way Charlie breaks down his star ratings is something we could all learn from. He can be both critical of something and love it, too. And it’s not confusing. It’s simple, it’s beautiful, it’s art.

Speaking of, I love a good segue.
