The Amazon Review Killer

Look, I don’t want to write about this.

It’s a topic that has sat in the drawer for almost four years of Review Party Dot Com. It’s about reviews, it’s scandalous, why wouldn’t I hop on?

Because RPDC is a comedy podcast, not a true crime pod. We don’t dabble with the darkness, and there’s not many ways we can spin the reviews that were written by a serial killer, about items a serial killer might find useful. We can spin a lot, but that’s a bit of a stretch, even for us.

SO. You can kinda see some of the reviews up there, in snippets.

You want more of the story? Okay.

Todd Kohlhepp was a bad kid. His father said he was only capable of anger and madness. When he was 15, he kidnapped a 14 year old girl and was released in 2001. Then he killed some people, and a decade later killed some more people, while also apparently becoming a successful real estate agent in the intervening years.

Another thing he did was leave reviews of locks, knives, shovels, and tarps. Great stuff. Ha ha.

If this is your jam, Google the guy. I’m sure there are articles and podcasts and video essays galore to get your fix.

For us, we’re just calling this box ticked.
